What Iceotope does

Iceotope seals a small amount of fluid that does not conduct power inside each server case. Pipes inside the case guide it over processors, then memory, drives, power supplies, and other parts. A heat exchanger at the rear passes the heat to the building loop.

Iceotope calls this “direct to everything.” It differs from a cold plate that touches only a few hot chips and from one immersion tank shared by many servers. The design can remove server fans and keep dust and damp air away from the boards. Technicians still handle one server at a time.

Iceotope sells the idea for data centers, high-performance computing, phone networks, and edge sites. Some edge cabinets do not need building water. The tradeoff is that each server model needs its own sealed case, flow path, fluid choice, and service plan.

Buyers should ask which server makes and models are ready to ship, who owns the warranty, how a failed box is swapped, and whether it can be fixed on site. They must also know which coolant distribution unit or dry cooler is still needed. Check fluid fit, leak alarms, control links, warm-water limits, and any heat-reuse plan.
