What ZutaCore does

ZutaCore supplies a two-phase direct-to-chip system rather than a conventional water-and-glycol loop. A non-conductive dielectric fluid boils at the cold plate, carries heat as vapor, condenses, and returns through a sealed circuit. That keeps water out of the information-technology space and uses phase change to move concentrated processor heat.

The linked HyperCool sidecar extends the loop beside existing racks and is company-rated for up to 240 kilowatts, positioning it as a retrofit where facility water is not available in the white space. A separate linked pilot records a working NVIDIA H200 graphics-processing-unit rack at a SoftBank data center, integrated with Foxconn; the participants reported that it passed temperature tests and that cooling added about three percent to rack power. This evidence is useful, but it remains a supplier and partner report from one demonstration.

Buyers need to verify support for their exact server and accelerator, refrigerant availability and environmental rules, containment and leak detection, operating pressure, condenser redundancy, heat rejection outside the rack, service training, and end-of-life fluid recovery. They should also ask who modifies and warrants the server and how the system behaves after a pump, fan, sensor, or power failure. ZutaCore's capacities, energy claims, and deployment results are company-reported, not an independent fleet-wide reliability study.
